This in one tip that I constantly see people getting wrong.
5 tips for installing a rear motorcycle sprocket
use a dab of Loctite on the threads- hole the sprocket bolt with an allen key
- tighten with the spanner, ratchet spanners are really handy for this job
- cross tighten the bolts evenly
- check the sprocket bolts regularly as they do work loose
